Welcome to Tingles Toys. I'm Daniel, and this shop grew out of two favorites: a rainbow-finish metal cube and a mechanical metal spinner. I like objects with interesting shapes, moving parts and colorful metal finishes—the kind you pick up just to try the mechanism again.
My art is part of the brand, too. Some of it began as emotes, and I want that character to grow alongside the shop.
Inside the journal
- Daniel's Favorites: Pieces I enjoy, with a closer look at the details that keep me coming back.
- Release Radar: New designs, finishes, collaborations and restocks, with links to the maker's announcement.
- Monthly Fidget Finds: Interesting toys and makers, and why they caught our attention.
Each feature will look at the details that help you choose: movement, materials, sound, size and price. A quiet desk toy and a pocket clicker have different jobs, and the useful question is which one suits yours.
When we've used a piece ourselves, we'll describe what we tried. When we're reporting a release or researching a trend, we'll name the source. Some of the toys we cover may reach the journal before they reach the shop.
