A dumpling in a mystery package, a cloud and a cube shaped like dessert: these were three squishies on our early October watchlist. Each borrows a familiar shape, but the mystery package adds another small event before anyone squeezes the toy.
The list came from Target's product pages and purchase badges. Those badges cover a changing, rolling period, so this is a record of products that caught our attention on October 8, with no month-end ranking or Tingles handling results.
- RMS Mystery Squishy Dumpling Fidget Toy adds an opening surprise to the dumpling shape. The reveal is part of the play, and the particular package determines what you get.
- NeeDoh Cloud Pleaser takes the shape in a different direction. A cloud already suggests softness; the toy gives that idea something you can hold.
- Jell-O Squishi Jiggle Cube makes the food reference explicit, right down to the name. Recognizing the dessert is part of recognizing the toy.
The mystery dumpling offers a reveal, the cloud and dessert cube start with a shape you already recognize. The next useful comparison would be what each does under the same squeeze, including the full release, rather than which listing carries the biggest purchase badge.
